1) If I want to stay In Korea earlier or later, would the airfare subsidy be unavailable?

=> No, the support would be still available.

However, the agency will check whether your additional plan makes more cost.

For instance, suppose that the flight ticket from Sep. 20 to Sep. 27, which is the original cost for participating in the 19th KPMC, is 1,000 USD.

If your flight ticket including your individual schedule (ex: Sep 15 to Sep 30) is 1,500 USD, it means your individual schedule makes additional cost.

In that case,  KBF will support the subsidy only for USD 1,000, which would be the original cost.

If your ticket is around or lower than 1,000 USD, it does not matter at all.

2) Why is it impossible to deduct the guest fee from the airfare subsidy?

=> It is because each category when using the budget should be distinguished according to the regulation of the high authority which sponsors the KPMC.

The budget allotted for airfare subsidy cannot be used for other category such as accommodation.

So, the guest fee should be paid by cash on site.

3) How can I participate in the KPMC if my country/territory does not have any available Baduk Association anymore despite its joining to the IGF?

=> In principle, if the organization in your area does not guarantee you, it is impossible for KBF to deem you a representative player from the country/territory.

However, if an international Baduk organization such as IGF, EGF, or AGF can guarantee you, KBF can accept your request.

In that case, the organization should forward the official message to KBF in order to guarantee you.

4) In the registration form, could you clarify what the date of arrival and departure as well as staying at the hotel for both days?  (Updated on July 24)

=> I apologize for the lack of explanation and confusion.

First, please ignore the 'need to stay in Incheon hotel on arrival date' as the schedule changed unlike before which delegation will be transferred to the venue at the arrival date.

Second, 'Need to stay in Incheon Hotel on Departure date' means whether you will stay at the hotel on Sep. 26. following the official schedule

If you move to other place since Sep. 26, please tell the organizer not to stay on that date in advance.

All saved costs will be used for other services provided to the participants.

5) Is that impossible to have breakfast at the Taebaek Hotel?  (Uploaded on July 24)

=> No, it is possible for individuals, but impossible for KBF, group booking.

The hotel manager said as the space for breakfast is limited, the participants should come to the 4F restaurant by groups in certain time.

KBF thought it is impossible to meet its needs regarding the convenience of participants.

So, it decided to improve other services instead of excluding the breakfast service.

It will be possible for individuals to buy the breakfast at the restaurant.

You will be also able to use the bakery at the first floor, if you want.

6) What events can the guest or executive participate in?  (Updated on Sep. 5)

=> Every event except the main tournament is open to everyone.

The guests and executives can participate in Pair Baduk tournament, Yut-marvel tournament, Can you go event, and etc.

Please enjoy every content because I don't want them just sitting and watching the games, but enjoying and being the part of the KPMC.

7) Can I buy the flight ticket before the confirmation?  (Updated on August 12: not available now)

=> You can buy the flight ticket anytime if you have the registration confirmation from your Go Association invited by KBF.

You don't need wait for my confirmation because I will never reject anyone who has the confirmation.

But, please read the booklet and flight guideline carefully so that you do not miss any statement about the airfare support or others.

8) Does Taebaek Hotel have the laundry service? (Uploaded on Sep. 5)

=> Yes, there are 3 washing machines in a building next to the Taebaek Hotel.

You can use them free, but you need to use own detergent, which may be not sold at the hotel.
