Anyone know where Madagascar is and which continent it is¡¡belong to?

This time of KPMC, 3 Countries players from Africa came to Korea as representatives.

His name is Mamy Rakotoarisoa which is as much hard to pronounce as his country name.

He has been studying for 14 years and now 2Dan player. Many times, Europe and other countries level is measured as a standard in IGS(International Baduk server), it is generally lower than Korean level system. Therefore, Mamy's level is probably 4 Dan in Korean level system.

Mamy is second player in Madagascar. First player is his brother. He came to Korea instead of his brother, because his brother had a problem in receiving his visa.

He said " A person who spreaded Baduk here is not from Asiai. 6 Dan player from Austria had travelled to Madagascar in the past, and he has stayed there for some time and spreaded Baduk there.

Currently, there are 100 players in Madagascar, it is not many number of people but it is not also small number considering it is Africa.

Not many players but it is organized well. Players are gathering 2 times a week in the club. 10 players are more than 1 Dan player out of 100 players.

Mamy has spent more than 30 hours before coming to Korea. He couldn't get his visa there, so he got his visa in South-Africa. He came here through Paris.

He expressed that although Korea is not familiar with him but the Baduk infra is so impressive as a Baduk Heaven.
