I love to announce that the 7th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Amateur Baduk Championship will be held in Gwangju, a city of democracy, human rights, peace and art, This Championship, has been known as a Baduk festival in the world, is playing an important role in harmonizing people from different countries and cultures through Baduk-the best mind sport.
Furthemore, this year besides 70 representatives from six continents, guest offcials from AGF and the president of EGF also are invited in the event, a lively discussion of developing Baduk all over the world will take place.
I hope this championship will help popularize Baduk all over the world.
Representative players, please do your best in every round to get the best results.

Furthermore, would like to say thanks to all the staffs of Korea Amateur Baduk Association and Gwangju Amateur Baduk Association for their hard work to organize The 7th Korea Prime Minister Cup international Amateur Baduk Championship'.

For a longtime, Baduk has been known as a good mind sport that symbolizes Asian spirit and promotes patience.
There are philosophy and wisdom of life inside Baduk. Baduk is not only very useful for children to cultivate patience and improve concentration, but it is also very effective for the elderly to prevent dementia. It is a really good mind sport game for everybody.
The 7th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Amateur Baduk Championship is the only international amateur championship in Korea that promotes and globalizes Baduk culture all around the world. I hope that all the players can achieve good results by using skills that they have been practicing.
Gwangju, has long been renowned for its tradition, Customs, Culture and arts, is seeking to become a capital of Asian Culture. While you stay in Gwangju, I hope that you make joyous and beautiful memories. And good luck to all the representatives.

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the 7th Korea Prime Minster Cup International Amateur Baduk Championship being held in Gwangju in the season of harvest.
I warmly welcome all representatives here would like to show their greatskills that they have been practicing for a long time.
I would like to extend my greatest gratitude toward President Kun Ho CHO and the staffs of Korea Amateur Baduk Association(KABA) who helped prepare and organize this tournament even in the time of hardship.
Baduk is said to be a good leisure activity and a mind sport promoting patience and comforting people's mind. Especially, Baduk has been loved by people for a longtime because it can help people break barriers among other people, and obtain wisdom of life and fresh energy by using hands as means of communication.
It is my greatest hope that this tournament will serve as away for people to exchange different ideas about Baduk and to nurture Baduk culture, resulting an increase in people who enjoy Baduk. Especially, I am eager to see that this tournament will provide a chance for representatives to get to know each other better and promote harmony among them even in competition.
Being the city of democracy, human rights and peace, Gwangju takes a lot of efforts to expand its important values and ideology. In the time of globalization and localization, Gwangju is pushing hard to be a major city of Asian Culture and a central city of technology in Northeast Asia with the help of advanced technology foundations in the 21st century. I recommend you to go sightseeing many different landmarks in Gwangju.
I hope that this tournament will continue to develop and that every player and participant will be in my blessing.

With all my heart, I would like to Welcome representatives and guest officials who visit Gwangju to participate in this great Baduk Championship.
As an international Baduk festival, this tournament promoting friendship and goodwill even in fierce competition among representatives from all around the world will be remembered as a memorable event for everyone. I cannot thank the Mayor of Gwangju and staffs enough for supporting this tournament with all their efforts and resources.
At the dawn of globalization, it is time for us to cooperate and share our fruits with each other as there is no boundaries among races, religions and countries. I believe that there is nothing like Baduk that bounds men and women of all age in harmony.
Furthermore, Baduk enables people to share thoughts and emotions, and even enjoy each other's company as they gather and play Baduk together. I am pleased to congratulate the 7th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Amateur Baduk Championship, the most biggest Baduk festival, to be held in "Bitgoeul(city of light)' Gwangju.
As it is the first time for Gwangju to host an International Amateur Baduk Championship, this tournament will provide a good chance to introduce Gwangju to the world.
I am confident that the 7th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Amateur Baduk Championship will serve as an important bridge that brings Baduk fans together and globalizes Baduk culture all around the world.
I sincerely ask every player as the representative of your Country to play Baduk as if it is an important step to the future.
Regardless of race and language, anybody can be friends with help of Baduk because there are no boundaries in it. I hope that this tournament will be a festival that brings everyone together in harmony and love.
